Liz Warner
Head of Land
Liz leads the Land Team at WNC, bringing over two decades of farming and consultancy experience. Her expertise in Carbon and Natural Capital markets, particularly BNG and Nutrient Neutrality, is complemented by BASIS Environmental Advisor registration and FACTS certification. Liz conducts Carbon Audits and foot-printing assessments, drawing on hands-on experience from managing her own mixed farm.
This blend of practical and theoretical knowledge allows Liz to offer tailored advice, balancing environmental goals with agricultural productivity. Her deep understanding of farming realities and emerging markets makes her a trusted advisor, guiding clients through complex environmental schemes while ensuring farm viability.
Robert Webb KC
Advisor & Board Member
Robert is a former barrister and executive with over five decades of experience in law, aviation, media, and technology. Called to the Bar in 1971 and appointed Queen's Counsel in 1988, he led his chambers for ten years, specialising in commercial litigation.
Robert has held senior executive roles, including General Counsel for British Airways and Rolls-Royce, and directorships at Air Mauritius, BBC, and the London Stock Exchange. At WNC, he serves as an advisor and Member of the Board, bringing his valuable commercial and legal expertise gained from his career.
Kevin Bateman
Advisor & Board Member
Kevin is a qualified Chartered Surveyor, Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers and a member of the British Institute of Agricultural Consultants. Kevin specialises in a number of professional practice areas with an in-depth knowledge of the environment and associated DEFRA funding streams including Woodland Creation, Environmental Stewardship and Landscape Recovery.
Kevin is secretary of the Western Counties Agricultural Valuers Association (WCAVA) and an examiner for the Western Counties Examination Group. Kevin is a Council member of the Agricultural Law Association and iss also a panel member of the Agricultural Lands Tribunal (ALT).
Henry Rawson
Founder & CEO
Henry is an entrepreneur, environmentalist, and landowner based in Exmoor National Park, Somerset. He manages the award-winning Wellshead Farm & Estate, renowned for its sporting facilities and prize-winning Red Devon cattle and Exmoor Horn sheep. His expertise spans sustainable land management and environmental conservation.
Beyond estate management, Henry has founded several international businesses focused on environmental sustainability, including ventures in textiles, ceramics, machine learning, and agroforestry. This diverse experience allows him to bring innovative approaches to balancing economic viability with environmental stewardship in the natural capital sector
